What is the Most Popular Video Game at Ross?
Many people wonder “what is the best video game?” One might guess Fortnite, Roblox, or even Among Us, as these are all popular video games at the moment. Today I, Austin Zazzara, am here to set the record straight and interviewed (almost) everybody in the Ross Middle School to ask about their favorite video game. As Mario says, “Let’s-a-Go!”
After a week of gathering data, here is the final diagram displaying the most popular video games today. (games with one vote have been removed and are not displayed)
Since Goat Simulator won the title of most popular, here’s a summary of the game for those of you who don’t know what it is or how to play. Goat simulator is a third-person view game where you aggravate npc’s, ride rockets at the speed of light, knock down bullet trains with assorted superpowers, defy laws of gravity with your sticky goat tongue, blow up gas stations, use jetpacks, play a remade version of flappy bird, skateboard, hit things with baseballs, ram people, and even more while role-playing as a goat! This can be played on mobile, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, so many have access to it. It costs around $30 on Xbox and PlayStation, or on mobile for free with the option of in-app purchases.
These final results surprised me a lot, specifically that Goat Simulator came up first. I didn’t expect this because not many people know about that game and it is not commonly talked about amongst friends at Ross.
Thank you guys so much for helping me with all the data!
