Stranger Things Season 2 Review
On October 27, 2017, the interesting and exciting new season of Stranger Things was released.
The story continues with crazy, supernatural forces affecting the boys and their town. The new season carries some of the same core characters that were in the previous season.
Eleven, the girl with supernatural abilities, is not in the story as much as the other characters, like Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will. Will, who had been captured by a horrific monster and taken into an alternate dimension, but rescued and returned to his normal life. But his life was not completely normal. Will and his friends soon realize that the Demogorgon that captured Will is back in town. And they also realize they are going to need more than five boys and a couple police to stop this Demogorgon from taking over the entire Earth.
In the beginning of the first episode, a new girl named Max is introduced. She isn’t quite like most girls-she’s sporty and gamine, and a bit of a tweak when she first meets the boys. Max has no background info about Will’s story or about anything that happened in the previous year. It the episodes later in the season, she becomes more suspicious about Will’s past and about the the girl of their group that went missing a while ago. And she soon learns the truth about what happened and what is happening in the town of Hawkins, Indiana.
Stranger Things season 2 is scary, heartwarming, funny, largely-satisfying, and appropriate for all ages to watch. Stranger Things 1 and 2 both have extremely scary moments, some jump-scares and some long lasting parts. This scary aspect help make the story intriguing. I think that many of the characters and how they interact with each other is funny. Funny lines and funny parts in the story make the new season very satisfying and entertaining. There are many new shows this year on Netflix, but I think Stranger Things is the best show and the most interesting. It is an easy binge-watch show and once you watch the first episode, you’ll never want to turn the show off.
One thing I like about Stranger Things 2 is that it continues the story that ended season one, which was when Will choked up this strange creature, but didn’t question why or how. But season 2 gave the why and how for us, which I think is a great way to start a new season to a series. Stranger Things season 2 is a great show for all ages and the best show for kids with amazing imagination. I loved it and I know kids who have only seen season 1 will love it even more.
